Horizon is Hoollow's flagship innovation hackathon, designed as a premier collaborative platform where students will be building impactful technology solutions for social media platforms.
Hoollow
Hoollow is a student-led innovation startup which provides a social media platform for students so that they showcase their work and empower young startup founders through our startup Eco-system, regardless of age criteria.
Everything Horizon is built to do for the students who show up.
Encourage innovation among students.
Drive the creation of solutions for social-media platforms.
Promote cutting-edge domains like AI, software development, and emerging technologies.
Cultivate essential soft skills, including teamwork, leadership, and project management.
Provide direct networking opportunities.
One open theme, three cutting-edge domains. Build impactful technology solutions for social media platforms — the approach is yours.
Artificial Intelligence
A cutting-edge domain Horizon exists to promote — applied to impactful technology solutions for social media platforms.
Software Development
Core engineering craft, pointed at the creation of solutions for social-media platforms.
Emerging Technologies
Open ground for whatever comes next, under the event theme of Open Innovation in Social Media.
Mode: Offline · Delhi Student Hackathon
Inspire Innovation
Spark creativity to solve simple problems in creative ways.
Encourage Problem-Solving
Apply technical knowledge in social media platforms.
Build Skills
Sharpen practical technical and non-technical skills.
Industry Connection
Bridge the gap between talent and industry leaders.
Promote Entrepreneurship
Encourage a founder's mindset in student developers.
Cultivate Teamwork
Practise teamwork, leadership and project management against a deadline.
An online MVP round narrows the field to thirty teams, then those teams build offline in Delhi against the clock.
Online — MVP Submission
Build a working MVP and submit it. The top 50 teams are shortlisted, and the first 30 of those to confirm take the seats in Delhi.
Build your MVP
A Minimum Viable Product for your chosen problem statement, far enough along to demonstrate core functionality, innovation and feasibility.
Submit four things
A project description, a 2–3 minute demo video, the GitHub repository, and a live demo if you have one. Incomplete or late submissions may not be considered.
Shortlist and confirmation
Fifty teams are shortlisted on their submissions, but only the first thirty to confirm within the given timeline secure a place — so confirming quickly matters as much as being picked.
In-Person — Delhi
One room, one day, eight hours on the clock. The exact venue is disclosed to the selected participants.
On-site round begins
The offline coding round opens in Delhi. Unstop gives the city; the venue itself goes only to the teams who make it through.
On-site round ends
Time is called, and judging and the close follow.
